Following the well-received, limited edition quilts presented at BDDW during Salone del Mobile in April, is the launch of the much anticipated “Horse, Moon, Hill,” bedding collection designed by Toogood for Once Milano. The range includes bedlinen, cushions, throws as well as a dressing gown.
Very early primitive folklore and paganism symbols inspire Faye Toogood’s work. The myth of the white horse – written into the very bedrock of England, and with parallels in other lands and other cultures – is at the heart of Faye Toogood’s collaboration with Once Milano. It was originally inspired by the graphic qualities of the pagan hill carvings at Westbury and Uffingham. An earthy palette of rich browns, grassy greens and chalky whites alludes to this collection’s roots in the English landscape. The range of bedding with signature details complements the limited edition collection of 10 quilts.
